Banking problems

I translated this story from Lá Nua roughly as follows:

Consumers with the Brittany bank, Northern Rock, outside the branch in Dublin yesterday (and?) worried that they would lose the money that is deposited by them in the bank.
There are about 25,000 customers of Northern Rock in Ireland and about 2.3 billion Euro deposited there.
Up to 2.7 billion Euro was withdrawn from Northern Rock over the weekend after it was noticed that emergency loans were gotten at the bank from the Bank of England. The bank lost over 50% of its value from this past Friday, time to have certified the lending/borrowing/loan.

Very unsure about that last sentence/phrase! :-)

Tomhaltóirí de chuid an bhainc Bhriotanaigh, Northern Rock, lasmuigh de bhrainse i mBaile Átha Cliath inné agus imní orthu go gcaillfidh siad an t-airgead atá i dtaisce acu sa bhanc.
Tá thart ar 25,000 tomhaltóir ag Northern Rock in Éirinn agus thart ar E2.3bn i dtaisce acu.
Baineadh suas le E2.7bn ó Northern Rock thar an deireadh seachtaine tar éis gur fógraíodh go raibh iasachtaí éigeandála faighte ag an mbanc ó Bhanc Shasana.
Chaill an banc os cionn 50% dá luach ó bhí Dé hAoine seo caite ann, am a deimhníodh an iasacht.
